Southern Sudan Plans to Build Animal-shaped Cities

Southern Sudan Authorities have unveiled a $10bn (£6.4bn) plan to rebuild the region's cities in the shapes of animals and fruits. ....interesting.... blueprints for the new cities have already been drawn up...and these guys are serious too, if i didnt hear it on BBC i woulda said  its a lie. I've heard they chose these shapes of fruits and animals because they match the symbols that appear on the flags of southern Sudan's states.
The regional capital, Juba, will be relocated and designed in the shape of a rhinoceros. Wau, the capital of Western Bahr el-Ghazal state, is to be a somewhat unwieldy giraffe.Southern Sudanese are due to vote in a referendum on independence next year.In Juba, the office of the regional president is situated where the rhinoceros's eye should be.In Wau, the sewage treatment plant is appropriately placed under the giraffe's tail.Yambio will be shaped like a pineapple. The elaborately-shaped dream towns may sound Dubai-esque  don't they?
Since its $10bn you must be bumping your head, where will Sudan get the funds for such an enormous project! They say they are talking to investors and there is plenty of oil in southern Sudan, that will cover it right?I'm starting to see a new light for South Sudan,They're alredy planning re-building cities in fruit and animal-like shapes thats good progress! But if the project will be completed in the near future, that we cannot tell.
Dunno y but just when i heard these news i thought of this
(totaly kiddin!) but i tell ya, i cant wait to see the after results!! These guys are onto something! I rili do smell progress! Its a great idea and stuff but uummhh.. just out of curiosity , do you think there was something they hadda do first with 10 billion before goin all glamorish with the Dubai theme cities? Or is this just the first stage of it? I mean they idea is good and all but there's still alot of people living under a dollar a day so is it good idea, wrong timing or is this going stepwise and they're coming to that....i rili dont get that part.
