Wait...You mean Zain/Celtel/Ummhh(cant Remember) has been bought ...again?!?

Zain which I'm hearing is now Airtel Tanznaina ...Wow..okay..I'm a little lost here..this company keeps getting Acquised whenever we blink!

Bharti Airtel,is now the new owner of Zain Tanzania,Airtel covers 16 other African countries. According to Bharti, the red primary colour reflects the warmth and vibrancy of the African continent. "It is the colour of life and African sun at dusk"

Airtel Managing Director,Sam Elangalloor said  that Airtel will increase its mobile penetration to 65 per cent by 2013 with most of the growth coming from rural areas.We aim to increase our subscriber base in the rural areas because the potential is there he said The brand also brings affordable services. We want to be the best brand in the country by 2015.Airtel is here to operate and serve the masses. And there is no tax relief (due to acquisition rather), we have taken Zain's legal obligation, including assets and liabilities.The company will keep all its current workforce following the re-branding and acquisition, and would recruit 130 new more before the end of the year.
Yup No more Zain Guys...just when i was starting to get used to the awkward name..

I think I'm a bit lost here....its almost like every year this company is getting sold or something...is there something We dont know? Anyway..Ali Kiba who was there to entertain at the launching sure un-confused me with his lil  Dance..
