We're being told Tanzania has succeeded by more than 95 per cent in attaining the education goal through the universal primary school enrollment.Well....that's one thing done right, hand clap and eyebrow raise...
Though Don't get too excited, theres a down side,a local survey revealed that although huge progress has been made in basic education in the last decade,survey shows that 10 children cannot read basic Kiswahili, nine out of every 10 children cannot read Basic English, and eight out of every 10 children cannot do basic mathematics...So how is it possible that its qualified 95% Attained in education progress?...
So the question is, did we deserve that award form UN, There is still so many educational collisions, incomplete schools, areas that don't have schools...,many have come forward and against the award but From my view, Maybe the figures were exaggerated but It was an award of Progress not of accomplishment. It sorta looked like that 'keep going, you're getting somewhere' kinda thing...But that's just my view
