‘Shooting this fashion story in Kenya was an incredible experience, especially because of the opportunity to photograph with Sheba, an eight-month-old orphaned cheetah cub at Sirikoi lodge. She was found abandoned and injured at a few weeks old and brought to the people at Sirikoi. They nursed her back to health and are currently making her spend five hours a day in the bush (with a Masai “babysitter”) in the hope she may one day choose to fend for herself in the wild. Sheba has an unusually gentle disposition, and seemed to enjoy the entertainment we provided over the two-day shoot’ – photographer Mark Segal
