Unknown African Inventors

Too many African Inventors go untold...if only we based more on innovators with healthy support
The ‘Young World Innovators’ web series project in Nairobi, Kenya by Diana Hendrix. The project is an inspiring look into the lives of innovators in Africa. This video highlights the story of Bernard in Tanzania who created a cellphone charger that is powered from the motion of a bicycle tire.

Bernard, the Tanzanian inventor in the video above, works with MIT grad Jodie Wu in Arusha, near Mt. Kilimanjaro. Where he teached Villagers how to solve problems,Bernard devised ten inventions after he met a Guatemalan innovator at an international conference....one of being a solar water heater.
