In 2008 and 2010, W. Caballero ventured to Uganda and interviewed a variety of Africans of all ages and backgrounds. Moved by their personal stories, Speak! So the World Will Listen: Uganda was created as a means to combine the mediums of projected visuals with live music, and raise awareness to the ongoing struggles facing war orphans, civil war survivors, and homosexuals in Uganda today.
