World's Most Expensive Christmas Trees,Lies in Abu Dhabi!

I knew my year would end without atleast a little something something, and here it is!! Ladies and Gentlemen..The Dimwits of the year!

They showcased their 'most expensive Christmas tree in the world,' Yeah We know You're rich country and eish but really? I dont spend that much on something I'm gona throw away in January...
The tree is 43 feet high and covered in expensive traditional Christmas bulbs and ornaments, as well as almost 200 precious stones. This baby cost a whooping  $11 million!..

They put the Christmas tree in the hotel lobby,the fake fir tree cost $10,000 and the jewels adorning it cost $11M. The 131 different jewellery pieces on the tree were made of diamonds, pearls, emerald necklaces, bracelets, earrings and watches and lots and lots of gold. They were supplied by the hotel's in-house jeweller. Imagine that..to think I was gonna put little cotton balls and some cheap lights on me plastic tree...

I'm guessing the Many Stars hotel was planning this publicity stunt a while now...Yeah like Guiness world book kinda thing,Major Backfire, sorry guys..You dont spend that much on a tree. Just got myself re-usable plastic one, Its a little less than $10,000..lets say it was almost free compared to this big-ol tree
Plus should i point out the irony that the world's most expensive tree is in UAE! Common Christians all over the world!..Italy? Britain? Where are you?

Though the managment did release a statement saying Management said that it regretted "attempts to overload" the Christmas tree tradition by adorning it with hundreds of pieces of jewellery from the hotel's jeweller.
  "Displaying a tree is not a novelty, rather it is a tradition meant to share in celebrating occasions guests hold while they are away from their home countries and families," 
The manager didn't think people would be offended because the UAE is "a very liberal country." Although the United Arab Emirates is officially Muslim, they have a huge foreign population and and have lights, carollers and santas in every shopping mall. Source

Random Thought, I know these guys said they have 24/7 security but Damn,Kibongo bongo mateja wangefanya bidii  kukakwapua hako ka-mti aise...ingewezekana hata wakachimba usiku mzima ,Halafu ndo New Year iko close,unacheza ...Asubhi unakuta peupe, though i doubt u can snatch anything from this one..Looka the security surrounding this baby
