Liya Kebede in Desert Flower

Desert Flower which features Liya Kebede who plays the part of Waris Dirie a former model who fought for social reform in Somalia against female genital mutilation. The book Desert Flower was adapted into a movie produced by Peter & Benjamin Herrmann.  The film will be coming to theaters this weekend in New York City March 18 2011.
