African Presidents Speak about the West in Libya

Okay, finally some African presidents speaking up about the whole situation......Mugabe, Zuma and Museveni made sure they let everyone know the West is 'Hypocritical'
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has spoken out strongly against US-led airstrikes in Libya, accusing western powers of hypocrisy. he wrote a long letter run by national press.
Western countries always use double standards,In Libya, they are very eager to impose a no-fly zone. In Bahrain and other areas where there are pro-Western regimes, they turn a blind eye to the very same conditions or even worse conditions.
Regarding the Libyan opposition, I would be embarrassed to be backed by Western war planes because quislings of foreign interests have never helped Africa

President Jacob Zuma on Monday warned against foreign military intervention in Libya, saying United Nations members may not go beyond the terms of a March 17 resolution to enforce a no-fly zone he told a Human Rights Day rally in Athlone, outside Cape Town.Zuma is a part of a five-man presidential panel tasked by the African Union to negotiate in Libya.

South Africa recommits itself to the position of the AU Peace and Security Council of 10 March, which reaffirmed Africa's strong commitment to the respect of the unity and territorial integrity of Libya, and underscored Africa's rejection of any foreign military intervention, whatever its form
The UN Security Council resolution should be implemented in letter and spirit by all member of the UN Security Council.
Operations aimed at enforcing the no-fly zone and protecting civilians should be limited to just that. They should not harm or endanger the civilians that Resolution 1973 sought to protect.
We believe that a peaceful and political solution based on the will of the Libyan people will guarantee long-term stability in Libya.

And Mugabe gave his 2 cents as well

The West has been (acting) in the same hypocritical way as before,They interpreted (the UN Security Council resolution) to mean permission under it to bombard any places of their own choice in Libya, including civilian places even. Now it is the West which is bombarding Libya and doing it callously and they don't care who dies.
There is no reneging on the resolution anymore, it's there, it's a mistake we made,We don't agree with the form of government that was in Libya, but Libya was nevertheless a member of the African Union and we looked forward to it transforming its own system in its own way.Now the West is taking advantage of the fact that it has been given that support to let itself in a position in which tomorrow it would be masters of resources of Libya, especially the oil,And it is this oil, oil, oil which is the undoing of the Libyan people and we have supported it.
