The story of a Zanzibari girl from a conservative Islamic family who wears a Hijab, but dreams of being a supermodel. Ironically the first picture ever taken of her was taken by a tourist on the streets of Zanzibar as her family was so poor and conservative that her parents didn't ever take her picture. When she sees herself in a picture for the first time she dreams of doing it for the rest of her life and aspires to be a model one day. She watches famous supermodels like Naomi Campbell on T.V. and dreams of becoming like them, but as they say, its not an easy way to the top and she realises the reality behind her dreams.

The story starts with an 8 year old Sophie getting clicked by a tourist in Stone Town, Zanzibar and from then on she starts dreaming of being a supermodel. She becomes very ambitious. Her mother is completely against her plans of being a model in the future but she finds solace in her boyfriend Abraham's company. He motivates her and helps her fulffill her dreams. She travels to Dar es Salaam, works with the biggest designers in the country but then she has to also realise what it takes to fullfill ones goals.The story is about Sophie's journey to the world of glamour and what it takes to remain at the top.
