No Homosexuality,No Aid

Britain has threatened countries that ban homosexuality with losing aid payments unless they reform, David Cameron has said. But he conceded that "deep prejudices" in some countries meant the problem would persist for years.
Had me thinking...It would have done wonders if they started this  in Middle East  and pulled out of buying Oil from em coz it is stated by  their 'law' that Homosexuality is punishable by 'death' ...but anyway..He's just trying to bring human rights to Homosexuals, continent to continent..maybe next year its Middle East, who knows right ? wrong,as if....but baiting Aid for Homosexuality, Hero? Bully? I cant decide...Bully Bully Bully Bully
Ps..Didnt this guy vote 'against' gay Adoption..twice?
Anyway the reactions so far
Ugandan presidential adviser John Nagenda told the BBC that people in his country were “tired of these lectures” about gay rights and being treated like “children.” “But this kind of ex-colonial mentality of saying: ‘You do this or I withdraw my aid’ will definitely make people extremely uncomfortable with being treated like children… Those who have more should give to those who have less. It’s as simple as that.”
Malawi government spokesperson Patricia Kaliati said it was “unfortunate” for Britain to have “pro-gay strings” to aid.Malawi has already had some of its budget support suspended over concerns about its attitude to gay rights.President Bingu wa Mutharika, who attended the Commonwealth summit, defends Malawi laws for the criminalisation of sexual orientation when he adopted Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe’s lingo, describing gays as worse than dogs. He has the backing of Malawi Council of Churches as it argues that while Malawi needed aid, it was against donor countries calling for the legalisation of same sex marriages as the practice was a contradiction with the teachings of God, Malawi’s rich traditions, culture and a threat to the family unit.
Ghana’s Trade and Industry Minister, Hannah Tetteh insists same sex relationships are unacceptable in African cultural set-ups and no amount of threats would make Ghana kowtow to UK’s threat while interacting with a section of the media in Accra on Tuesday.
Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell has echoed this vbiew, arguing that the UK must not cut aid over the persecution of LGBT people. "The British government is wrong to threaten to cut aid to developing countries that abuse human rights. Although these abuses are unacceptable and violate international humanitarian law, cuts in aid would penalise the poorest, most vulnerable people. Many are dependent on aid for basic needs like food, clean water, health care and education," he said.
So lets face it guys... The Aid cut on 41 itsillegaltobegay countries is like robbing Peter to pay Paul...it doesn't scream human rights if the ones who are going to suffer are down below, maybe Cameron's Gay Parade should be channeled to Human rights section in these countries...well African countries still need to treat Homosexuals a little better...its not like they kill em..
O_0
...wait...do they?

Random though: However... I think we should just ditch aid
