Dixie Carter dies at 70

"Designing Women" star Dixie Carter, whose Southern charm and natural beauty won her a host of television roles, has died at age 70.

Carter died Saturday morning, according to publicist Steve Rohr, who represents Carter and her husband, actor Hal Holbrook. He declined to disclose the cause, it is not public yet and the family is terrible sad for loss of Dixie.

Some say cancer ended Dixie’s life but we don’t know what is the real reason and why it is kept so secretly, either way I respect that the family wants to keep matters private and not make a big show out of it, noble decision, once someone becomes a celebrity, people stop having morals, they ask questions that they wouldnt ever ask a stranger, privacy has to respected.
