Well in India those babies are being fixed with Navigation systems..
Next week, 250 rickshaws in New Delhi will be fitted with GPS devices as part of a trial period, with plans to roll out the scheme for all the vehicles in the city by the end of next month. The SatNav scheme is the latest attempt by city officials to improve the reputation of rickshaw drivers. The devices will serve the dual purpose of allowing the authorities to track journeys, while passengers can check they are being taken on the shortest possible route. The devices will also be fitted with a panic button to allow women to raise the alarm if they’re attackedKind of awkward when you think about it though, its like modern bikes with basic breaking system and now navigation systems...
