This debut collection portrays my love for Africa both in the choice of fabric and finishes. It has been inspired by a number of things from African music, food, and art to TCM movies, the femme fatales of our time and Diani – my favourite place on earth for both obvious and more personal reasons. This collection represents a journey for me, a journey of self-discovery which has been embodied in these beautiful clothes. The response has been overwhelmingly positive and I am humbled and grateful for the warm welcome the entire fashion fraternity has afforded me
