Professor Doolittle?

In Ghana, a leader of the main opposition National Patriotic Party (NPP), who has a way with words as I've been told , called the president of the republic John Atta Mills, "Professor Dolittle" ha ha..get it.'Do-Little' Doolittle! lol good one ( not that I support it btw)The president wasnt in town and his spokespersons had quite a wild reaction to the name. But i dont think he should be mad, professor Dolittles was a smart professor really...ha ha, no harm being compared to him. The Cliche would have been if the president of Ghana came out and said indeed can talk to animals, now that my friends would have a day to remember, but sadly that day is left to imagination.

Now coming from someone who's been called worse names than Dolittle its not half bad really, he should make the most of it with a Eddie Murphy attitude! Once in my life i was Timmy,(don know where that came from seriously) Shortstuff,Jackie Chan, Samurai Jack, mutant ninja turtle,Power ranger (the evil name one), Mojo jojo, Red Guy(cow and chicken), and recently Chenkov (if you've seen SALT you know what that means) many more which arent worth mentioning...La Princessa just came off about 3 years ago, how i stuck with it is upon me?!

For a week, the full machinery of the state was deployed to convince all Ghanaians that professor president was not a "professor Dolittle".
And the president said he was happy his opponent referred to him as "Professor Dolittle" rather than "Professor Do-Nothing".

I was reading an article  on it and seems to me like people are over-reacting about it, as much it is disrespectful to give the head of state such a  nickname considering he is 'the head of state' I think every country has nicknames for their presidents or at least i believe so...Nigerian president was called "Baba-go-slow" Thabo Mbeki used to have his own nickname as well if i remember correctly, And as for my president...uuummmhh..well you got my point no need to point al da nicknames out do i? On a political note its rather harsh and early to call em Proffesor Doolittle for a president who's been sworn in for only 18 months doncha think....though hey, we're all pipos...president or not
